Reporter and Podcaster

Crash "CrashLit" Collier is a senior and USC's #1 sports fan. He enjoys covering and reporting on all things USC Athletics. He hosts his own podcast called Behind The Caution Tape, where he talks about everything happening with USC's sports teams. He also has play-by-play broadcasting experience, and is a regular sports contributor to the USC Annenberg School's Media Center, where his passion for the Trojans is evident throughout all of his work. He attends more USC sporting events than any other fan and is best known for wearing caution tape to games. As a result of his superfan reputation, CrashLit brings a unique fan perspective to his reporting and podcasting.

Play-By-Play Experience

During the 2024 summer, CrashLit worked as a baseball play-by-play broadcaster for the Ventura County Pirates and Bucs, where he gained valuable experience calling sporting events. Below are some of the highlight plays CrashLit called during his time with VC.

Fox 11 Los Angeles Sports News Internship

CrashLit also served as a sports news intern at Fox 11 during the 2024 summer, where he learned how to present on air, write scripts, and put together sports packages. He also got to shadow and cover both USC Football and the Raiders' practices during his time with the station.
